Bruxism, the dental term for teeth grinding, has a variety of causes and can often lead to damaged teeth and bite problems when left untreated.

At Bethesda Dental Implant Center, Drs. Eskow can identify the signs of Bruxism, and will take the time to determine the cause of teeth grinding before recommending treatment. Dr. Roy and Adam Eskow are experienced in the diagnosis and treatment of TMJ, a common underlying cause for Bruxism. For many patients, oral appliance therapy is effective at reducing or preventing teeth grinding and helping to prevent damage to the teeth.

If patients have an imbalance in their bite that is causing Bruxism, there are a variety of restorative procedures that Dr. Eskow may recommend to repair teeth and/or restore balance in the bite.
